Frontier Lighting is one of WA’s leading Lighting Production Companies who solely just look after anything lighting, whether it be concerts of any size, festivals with multiple stages, corporate functions, car launches, architectural lighting or anything in-between. At Frontier, they pride themselves in providing clients with the best products and service in Western Australia. Consequently, Jared Hawke Consultant & Designer at Frontier Lighting decided to acquire 14 of the new CHAUVET Professional COLORado Panel Q40 wash lights from Showtools International to add to the company’s sales and hire inventory.

The COLORado Panel Q40 is a powerful IP65-rated rectangular wash light that features 40 15 W RGBW LEDs. Jared was impressed with what the new fixture provides, “Thanks to the IP65-rated 40 15W RGBW LEDs and adjustable beam angles, the fixture will allow us to create flawless edge-to-edge color mixing and with its magnetic flood filter it can produce a wider area wash.”

Jared also commented on the flexibility of the fixture, “The Q40 is a rugged indoor/outdoor unit that is at home in any weather conditions with its outdoor rated power and data connectors allow for easy connections without propriety cabling and can control it through W-DMX and RDM.”

The panel also comes equipped with adjustable PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) to avoid flickering on camera and selectable, smooth dimming curves to eliminate flicker and choppiness in fades.

“The COLORado Panel Q40 provides superior edge-to-edge color mixing than any other panel wash light on the market with its advanced optics and its flexibility is a welcome addition to our inventory stock, stated Jared. “Its adjustable beam angles will allow us to create some creative looks for various events and its IP65 rating gives us the required flexibility regardless of any conditions we face.”
