DTS V-SNAP CS Unleashes High-Speed Beam Effects on the Hardstyle Scene

Eighteen DTS V-SNAP CS fixtures delivered lightning-fast beam effects at Vroeger Was Alles Beter, bringing a new level of visual intensity to one of the Netherlands’ hardstyle events.
On 3 and 4 January 2026, thousands of hardstyle fans gathered at Brabanthallen in Den Bosch for Vroeger Was Alles Beter (VWAB), a celebration of the genre’s golden era.
Combining nostalgic hardstyle classics with modern production technology, the event featured a high-energy lighting design from Koen van Elderen of MAOSS Design & Operating.
At the centre of the action were 18 DTS V-SNAP CS moving beam fixtures, selected for their extraordinary speed and ability to deliver striking, laser-like effects.

Following a demonstration at the DTS factory, van Elderen selected the V-SNAP CS for its ability to create distinctive visual effects that conventional moving beams struggle to replicate.
The fixtures became an integral part of the show’s lighting design, producing rapid beam movements that complemented the energy and intensity of the music.

Pushing Beyond Conventional Beam Lighting
The DTS V-SNAP CS combines high-speed movement with powerful beam output, offering a distinctive creative tool for large-scale live productions.
Capable of 180° pan in just 0.33 seconds and 270° tilt in 0.24 seconds, the fixture produces extremely fast, precise movements suited to high-impact lighting sequences.
For production supplier Hoevenaars Licht, Geluid & Video, the fixture’s unique performance was a standout feature.
